My mum was the best mum in the world, I loved her with my whole heart and I felt loved by her. She was my best friend and we talked everyday sometimes for hours. My favourite thing to do was to arrive early at her home when everyone else was asleep and sit chatting over a cup of tea.

My mum was Valerie Cottrell born in Bristol on September 05, 1941. She was diagnosed with lung cancer on 11th February and died on 30th March 2013. We were with her, holding her when she died at home. We are in total and utter shock that she has gone. Life isn't right with her not here. I miss her so much it hurts.
